Compensation

~ Surrogates are compensated for the physical inconvenience and strain on daily life caused by the pregnancy.

~ Frist time Surrogates receive $24,000. Second time Surrogates receive $29,000. And third time Surrogates receive $30,000. In addition, all expenses incurred due to the pregnancy, medical and other, are covered by the Intended Parents.

~ Surrogates are reimbursed at a rate of $200 per month from the time the contract is signed, until one month after delivery. This is a non-accountable reimbursment for misellaneous expenses incurred per month due to the pregnancy. These include parking, over the counter meds, gas, postage, etc. not to exceed $200.

~ Each month, Surrogate is required to attend a support meeting with other surrogates in our program, led by a licensed psychologist.  Surrogates are compensated $100 for attending each meeting.

~ There is a total housekeeping allowance of $950, if needed, to begin the third trimester, and end three weeks after delivery. There is also a $750 maternity clothes allowance.

~ Surrogate receives $1,000 for each transfer ($400 for starting medication and $600 for the procedure).
