Marie joined Surrogate Parenting Services in September 2012 as temporary help and was invited to stay permanently a few months later! Although Marie has never been a surrogate herself she has supported her daughter through 3 journeys and has great compassion for all in this process.

Marie joined SPS because of her daughter, Katie. Marie was amazed at Katie’s dedication to each journey as an egg donor,then as a surrogate. After meeting with Cristie and Michelle, she was honored to be a part of the SPS team. She truly enjoys seeing the photos of the babies and their families after they are born and tracking the births of the over 700 babies that have been born in to the program.

Marie is grandmother to 8 wonderful kids, 7 boys and 1 girl! She has 3 wonderful kids of her own who have each amazed her since the moment they arrived. She is happily married to “her guy” that she eloped with 45 years ago! She enjoys living near the coast to walk the trails and loves taking day trips by train or driving down to San Diego.
