We’re with you every step of the way

The health, comfort, and happiness of our clients is paramount to us. From the moment you start your journey with SPS, we’ll be by your side through every step of the process.   

You’ll be assigned a case manager who is available to you 24/7. She will educate you on the entire process, attend all fertility appointments and pregnancy milestone appointments with you, and be there through your labor and delivery. (Note that during Covid-19 times, we’ll be “by your side” in whatever way the provider allows—either in person, by phone, or virtually.)

Our surrogates also attend monthly support meetings led by a licensed mental health professional, which not only helps you navigate the emotional ups and downs of the process, but also gives you a sense of community during your journey.

We take our matches seriously  

When matching surrogates and intended parents (IPs), some surrogacy agencies give intended parents a database of prospective surrogates to scroll through. But for us, surrogates are far more than a name on a screen.

As a surrogate, you’re looking after a baby for nine months, connecting you to the IP(s) in an incredibly intimate and powerful way. Our goal is to create a bond and trust between surrogates and IPs to make the experience of both parties as fulfilling as possible. 

We believe that the matching process should be approached with personal care and extensive experience. Our founder and president, Cristie Montgomery, personally guides the matching process, which is one of the main reasons we have had such a long history of success.

After being a surrogate herself, Cristie Montgomery was motivated to do more to help others have a child of their own. She started SPS in 1990, and since then we’ve helped bring over 800 happy, healthy babies into the world. We’re now considered one of the oldest and most established full-service surrogacy agencies in California. 

Our entire team is committed to the highest standards and to making our clients’ experience as positive as possible. All our case managers have been a surrogate with SPS at least once!
